Facebook Fan Pages
Facebook is by far the largest social network in the world, with over 400 million users. Compare that to 75 million on Twitter, and
60 million on LinkedIn. You might think that these sites are a waste of time. And for many people, it can be. But now that Google
is indexing Facebook Fan Pages, real time, ignoring Facebook could be a big business mistake.
The message here is that your business needs a Facebook Fan Page, and you need to update it regularly with posts that are relevant to your business.
These posts will be indexed by Google - including Status updates, links, and photos - and will appear in the "Latest Results for xxx" section
near the top of the results page.
Give us a call - we'd love to help.

Google Caffeine
Caffeine is the code name for Google's new, upgraded search engine which they've been testing online since at least August. They have reportedly
re-built their code from the bottom up, so your search results will load faster, and be more accurate. Does Google count the speed that your page loads in its ranking calculation? Not yet, but stay tuned, it could make a difference in the future. If your site is slow-loading, why not take this opportunity to optimize your site for speed? People who visit the site will appreciate it, you might get some visitors who would otherwise have left, to stay, and when Google starts penalizing sites for slow-loading pages, you can relax!

Fake Antivirus Alerts
A slick scam is unfortunately quick lucrative for the perpetrators. You're online, maybe
on a website or reading your email, and suddenly you see a popup alert. "Your computer is infected!" It looks quite real - but it's not. If you click on the link and buy their "solution," not only
will your machine become infected, your credit card will also be compromised.
