Using the Address Box in Your Browser

If you already know the address of the website you want to visit, you can type it into the address box at the top of your web browser instead of going to Google.

Easier still, if the address is in an email or other electronic document, you can copy and paste it into the address box.

And most of the newer browsers also have an autocomplete feature, so if you have been to the webpage before, you'll see a list of matching addresses as you start typing. As soon as you see the one you want, point to it and click!
